Murrietta Circuits is pleased to announce we have purchased the latest version of Atlium Designer, the newly released, “Summer 08.”

Altium’s latest version of their Altium Designer software has an extensive list of benefits and features which ease the engineering development cycle. This enhancement of Murrietta’s design capabilities, in combination with our Rapid Prototyping services adds significant value for their customers.

Murrietta Circuits provides fixed price or hourly arrangements to support internal design groups, from engineering; circuit board layout; DFM (Design for Manufacturability) / DFT (Design for Test) consultation, and more - with Murrietta’s complete fabrication, assembly and testing services.

February Press Release (2/14/08)

Murrietta Circuits is pleased to announce that we have completed our manufacturing move and expansion.  Last year was a record year in terms of sales and new capital investment.  All departments including design, fabrication, and contract assembly are now 100% in the new facility. Over the past 12 months we have accomplished much, including:

• The multi-million dollar expansion of our board manufacturing facility is now complete. Our 50,000 square foot Anaheim location is a truly integrated solution to all your circuit board needs.  We are under 1 roof, 1 ERP system, 1 quality system and 1 management team!
• The facility contains a state of the art Class 10,000 clean room, with very tight temperature & humidity controls that run 24/7.
• We have installed the latest technology DES (Develop Etch Strip) line from Chemcut, with the Thin-core transport capability down to 1 mil cores.
• We have also installed Chemcut’s latest equipment in automated alternative Oxide and Chemical Clean.
• Renewed our ISO/Aerospace certification: AS-9100.  We were the first Southern California EMS to achieve this certification!
• Installed our 3rd Hi-Speed SMT pick & place line, for high volume / fine pitch assembly, with capabilities down to 0201 passive devices and low speed 0105 passives.
• Installed our 3rd Reflow Oven for Lead free assemblies, with high temp capabilities specifically suited for Rohs parts.
• Installed the Dek Horizon 03i inline stencil printing system, with the Grid-Lock tooling feature and 2D paste inspection.
• Renewed our SDB certification with the Small Business Administration
• Our Contract Mfg division has grown 30% annually over the last 5 years.
• Seventy percent of our customers use our complete Turnkey services, where we supply the components!
• All of our inspectors are IPC trained & certified.
• All of our hand solder’s are J-Standard-001 trained & certified (certified J-Std-001 trainer on-staff)
• Obtained clearance from the NSA (National Security Agency) for handling and control of Communications Security Material (COMSEC).

New Dek Horizon 03i In-Line stencil printer (8/21/07)

We are pleased to announce the purchase and installation of our new Dek Horizon 03i in-line Stencil Printer system.

The printer features a rapid 12 second cyle time, 2 minute changeover time (10 minutes for new products), full-size 510 x 508 mm maximum board capability and the HawkEye high speed print verification software system with SPC tracking. This system is extremely accurate with a Stencil to Board Process Capability of 1.33 Cpk @ +/- 25um (full paste on pad repeatability).

In addition, the system features the Gridlock tooling system and Dek ProFlow heads for a fully enclosed solder pasting system (as opposed to manually applied solder paste and squeegees). The ProFlow heads offer full isolation from ennvironmental changes (temperture / humidity), on going cost savings (less solder paste waste), and labor savings in the form of hands free operation. The Gridlock tooling system allows for full under-board support and ease of setup.

New DES, Chemical Clean and Oxide Line (8/21/07)

We are pleased to announce the purchase of our new Chemcut DES Line (Develop, Etch and Strip) with Chemcuts thin-core transport technology, capable of processing cores as thin as 1 mil.

To compliment this line, we have also purchased the Chemcut Chemical Clean XLi Line and conveyorized Oxide line. These new additions, will expand our capabilities in high-layer count, fine-line PWBs.

Lead-free SMT Line (8/21/07)

We are pleased to announce our new Lead Free SMT line featuring our hi-speed, MyData My12 SMT placement machine and our Heller 1809 EXL Reflow oven.

New Hi-Speed SMT Line (8/21/07)

We are pleased to announce the launching of our 3rd high speed SMT line, with our new Dek Horizon 03i, in-line stencil printing system.

The new line is capable of running 20k CPH, with 0201 capabilities and features the MyData Agilis feeders, for 75% faster SMT setup times and value checking for passive devices.

Stablcor Materials (2/17/06)

Murrietta Circuits has become a licensed supplier of Stablcor materials from Thermalworks of Anaheim (www.thermalworks.com).

STABLCOR® is a major advance in the field of PCB and Substrate technology, because of its advanced thermal characteristics. It has has been successfully tested in the aerospace and defense industry. STABLCOR® is now available to a broader market for commercial and mass production products.

STABLCOR® technology actually pulls heat away from the components through the PCB. The technology has the ability to match the CTE (the Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) of PCBs and Substrates to large scale BGAs, and WLP (Wafer Level Packages). The higher stiffness and rigidity of STABLCOR® allows higher yields in assembly manufacturing and reduction of mechanical reinforcements.

This total PCB and substrate solution increases the overall reliability of the Customer's product.
